Week 2 of Rapid-Fire Reviews and we see rap's most prominent star come out with a lead single featuring one of music's biggest R&B stars. We see a young rapper drop his latest full-length LP, and we also get Nas, a guy who's been doing this for 30 years.
Drake's "Slime You Out (feat. SZA)"
Drake finally gives us the lead single off his highly-anticipated album For All The Dogs. Drake and SZA are two of my favorite artists that are out right now and they didn't disappoint with this release. The first part starts off with Drake showing off his R&B side, then leads into a great SZA feature, it ends with a classic Drake outro. "Slime You Out" is a good lead single and has me excited for the album, coming out next week.

Rod Wave's "Nostalgia"
I listened to this album admittedly not being a huge fan of Rod Wave. I'm not hating on the music or anyone who likes Rod Wave, but this album was a huge miss for me. It sounded like the same song for most of the track, and I don't think Rod Wave is interesting enough for an 18-track album.
Best Track: Call Your Friends
Worst Track: Turks & Caicos (feat. 21 Savage)
3.5/10
Nas's "Magic 3"
I was thoroughly impressed with Magic 3. Nas sounds like someone who is still hungry to make music and push it out for us. This may seem like a surprise with Illmatic, one of the greatest albums of all time, came out in 1994. Nas is now 50 and is rapping better than most rappers today. If you like rap, check out Magic 3. One of the better albums I've listened to this year.
Best Track: Based on True Events
Worst Track: 1-800-Nas&Hit
